Coming off as a rude and mercurial man, Reli seems to be unappealing to be around a majority of the time. He’s sarcastic, blunt, and when he’s trying to cut someone down with words he always aims to hurt. To a stranger, it’s almost impossible to tell why he’s surrounded with such loyal friends and allies but those who take the time to figure it out will quickly understand why.
When his respect and trust is earned, it means a great deal to Reli. He doesn’t take it lightly and he will remain loyal until given a reason not to be. However, once that trust is broken it’s near impossible to earn back.
With friends, Reli can be playful and genuine but it usually takes the right setting (and people) for him to let his guard down.

Rielen’s father was a blacksmith and his mother? She was nothing more than a bandit. He was meant to take over his father’s craft and nothing more; a simple life. However, something inside the young boy wanted more, perhaps he got that from his mother.

Born into a noble family of Ishgard, Lilia had the perfect life and anything she wanted. Then she met Rielen. She gave him everything he wanted along with four children. She also kept his secrets and took them to her grave.

Some would even go as far as to call him a coward for what he did, but the story is much more complicated than that. His name just a mere whisper among his family and a lingering memory to those who cared. Drais left behind his legacy and turned his back on it all.

Respected by her children, despised by most of the family. Lilith is cold, calculating, and much like Rielen. She believes in his 'vision' and for this she is especially cruel and power hungry. It was an arranged and loveless marriage.

Much like her older brother, Riley loathes everything to do with politics. Unlike him, she attends whatever Rielen requests of her. For this, she is held in a more respected position and often chosen for his dealings.

Notorious pirate captain of The Kraken, Cerothyn runs his ship with a tight grip and made his own name for himself. He wanted nothing to do with the politics his family thrusted him into, however, he's quite good at playing them when needed. He can be found in various taverns when not away on his ship.

Lynn was an extraordinary archer for her age, she and Drais were often sent on jobs together. They were a deadly duo and never missed. She was extremely close with her siblings and had a warmth about her.

As much as she denies her family name, she is more like them than she cares to admit. She shares their temper, their distrust, and their cleverness. Katlinne also shares a striking resemblance to her aunt Lynn whom she never met.

Rowan is all the good parts of his father. He has an adventurous heart and kindness about him. Kat is fiercely protective over him, the pair balance each other out. He spends most of his time on his father's ship.

ㅤOriginallyㅤ coming from the shroud, it's unknown how the Zeddicus family came to be a renowned noble name in Ishgard. However, they are and it's not unknown that the patriarch of the family has his grip on many and fingers in just about anything. His reach is far, but still there's more powerful houses and families.Reli grew up in a small cottage in the Shroud, a simple and quiet life. He spent up until he was fifteen hunting and sparring with his father, Drais. It was on his fifteenth birthday that the rose colored lenses were ripped away and he was handed over to Drais' father, Rielen.From the warmth of the sun, the shade of the branches, and the calls of the wild to stone walls, winter's icy touch, and people who were just as cold--- Reli hated everything about Ishgard and his newfound family.It was there that he learned what the hunting trips and lessons were really for and who he had been groomed to become. A Zeddicus.
The name was just that for his life, but now it was everything. Lavish parties, harsh lessons, and secrets that were quite literally killed to be kept. It might have been a city, but it was just as much kill or be killed as the shroud had been. The people were just more fake than he had been used to.Despite his hatred for nobility and view upon his family, he's very much one of them. Because when you have your back against a wall and that family was all you had, you learned to keep their secrets and follow their rules. You survived. You adapted.
